Welcome to the entrance of the Rittenhouse, a whole-home renovation in Lake Oswego. As part of the comprehensive remodel, the entry was reimagined to set the tone for the entire home. Carpet was removed in favor of newly installed hardwoods on the stairwell and upper landing, while existing floors were carefully refinished to a rich dark chocolate, restoring their natural character and adding depth. Thoughtfully layered lighting introduces a sense of arrival and quiet grandeur, and a refreshed paint palette brings cohesion, elegance, and a feeling of timeless ease. This first moment was designed to feel intentional—an opening chapter that quietly signals the care and craftsmanship woven throughout the home.
